To all families of the OGFPA,
I hope that all families are staying safe and healthy during this challenging time. The Board Members of OGFPA, the governing body of the Captains and the Navigators, have met and would like to notify all family’s the position of the organization. Per Governor DeWine’s recent mandate and under the guidance of the OHSAA, we as an organization will be unable to conduct any practices or participate in any games until further notice. As the Governor releases more information regarding summer sporting activities, we will continue to update all families within the OGFPA regarding practices, tournaments and games. We do understand that many Navigator teams are registered for tournaments in May and early June, which at this time we are awaiting word from those tournament directors regarding refunds/possible make-up dates.
Please understand that there are many questions regarding the future of summer softball which we cannot answer at this time. We ask that you bear with us as we receive more information from the Governor’s office, as well as the Olmsted Falls School District. As we receive that information, we will make sure that it is communicated as quickly and efficiently to our families as possible. The safety and health of our families and players are our primary concern, and we will do what is best for all involved.
Thank you for your time and if you should have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me by email at email@example.com or by phone at (440) 213-4399. Stay safe!
